Parenting techniques that may not work

My kids are growing up bilingual in Argentina. My English is better but that doesn’t matter when I struggle with a key sound in Spanish.

We used to play in the street as kids, even walk to elementary school. Our kids should be able to do the same today.

We’ve gone cash only. That means no credit. That means sticking to a budget. That means aging jeans, which for my daughter means very cool.

My eldest daughter is climbing the levels on her pogo stick. That’s not the video-game version. It’s a real one.

It wasn’t just another workday. We took off on a road trip as a family to taste the freedom of the road and see animals in the wild.

Doctors, school meetings and work. It’s a combo that never ends… unless you decide to switch off. Work, at least.
